We have all heard of the classic wedding entertainment like DJs, bands, lawn games, and photo booths however there are so many wonderful and fun ways to get unique with your wedding entertainment that are often not explored. While all the above are wonderful and great, they are becoming more the blueprint of weddings than a fun added addition. It is always fun showing up to a wedding and having something unexpected entertain or surprise you. Bringing in entertainment is a perfect way to enhance your guests experience and provide a really lovely experience for not only you but for your entire wedding guest list.

Here are somefun ways to get unique with your wedding entertainment and add to your guest experience:

Wine tasting / Mixologist / Bartending Show
A bar is already typically a feature at a wedding so why not add to this and do a wine tasting portion of the evening, or have a mixologist specialist bar set-up, or better yet have the bartender put on a show with bottle tossing and unique serving styles. There are tons of cute champagne carts, and draft beer carts however this option is a bit more interactive for your guests.

Aerial Artists

I love aerial artists shows! Having used aerial artists as entertainment for a charity dinner event in the past I know first hand how amazing this show is. Keep in mind you will need to ensure your venue can accommodate their needs as they do attach into the ceilings or have a larger structure brought in to hold them.

Fire Dancers

This is such a fun addition if you are doing a more tropical outdoor wedding. This would be great for a weekend wedding and give the feel of your guests being on a resort with private entertainment!

Synchronized Swimmers

We love a gorgy poolside wedding set-up and synchronized swimmers would be the perfect addition to a poolside wedding. This could happen throughout dinner or as soon as guests take their seats as a nice surprise.

Incorporate Rides

If you have the space for incorporating rides DO IT. I love this idea. How fun to have a ferris wheel or vintage fair rides for guests to enjoy throughout the evening. You can even top it off with fun fair treats like cotton candy, or popcorn!

Tarot Card Reading

Are you and your partner super into tarot cards? This would be a very personal and entertaining touch for your wedding! Have a Tarot card reader set-up during cocktail hour for guests to use at their leisure. I would totally love this as a guest!

Tattoo Artist

Are you and your soon to be spouse into tattoos? This could be a really unique and cool addition to your wedding. Does the artist have to be doing real tattoos? Not necessarily (although would be totally cool). You could offer up henna or stick on tattoos as well! This provides fun for those guests who may not want to get inked permanently and can enjoy the entertainment still.

Set Off Wish Lanterns

This would be a lovely full group activity for the evening! You could do it by group or individually and have everyone set them off at the same time (hello beautiful photos!). Keep in mind this is best to do over water and some countries/states/provinces have made it illegal so be sure to look into this before deciding on it!
