I missed doing my personal blog in September because it was so wildly busy! We are wrapping up our busy part of wedding season right now and are now diving into finalizing items for our last wedding of 2021 and prepping for 2022 weddings. We have a lot of behind the scenes work happening this winter so we can come into 2022 stronger and better than ever. The best practise for Sea and Silk is to continue to learn, grow, and adapt ourselves to the new trends and best practices for weddings. We are excited for some much deserved down time and will be using this time to get ourselves in tip top shape for 2022 🙂

We had five weddings in September so we essentially did not stop working that month! They were BEAUTIFUL weddings and we lucked out with wonderful couples. If you are following us on instagram you have been seeing all our sneak peaks from these gorg weddings. October was welcomed warmly as 1. FALL!!!!! And 2. We were getting a bit less busy with weddings which meant more time for relaxing (needed!) and family/friends time (needed!).

Personally – I did some fall activities like getting pumpkins! CONFESSION: way tooooo many pumpkins. My front porch and house are scattered with them;) and I don’t hate it! It gives me such cozy fall vibes. I have also been loving living in comfy fall clothes. I went to Saunders Farm with my mom and sister for a lil spooky night which was super fun! I am excited for some more down time in November and to really dig into our 2022 weddings. I hope everyone is staying safe and enjoying the fall season. Xx.

I'm a luxury award-winning wedding planner for the high-end unique brides. I enjoy the finer things in life like a good glass of bubbly, fine dining, and jet-setting. I also enjoy being at home with a coffee, a book, and my dog & husband close by. Balance is key ;) I find inspiration through fashion, art, and interior design. I am so Happy to have you following along on our journey. xx
